7 Women 7 Stories class has come about as a result of my own pain and struggles in life. It has been my experience that telling my story was the beginning of my path to freedom. The principle is found in James 5:16, a verse which will be referred to throughout the class.
It is my prayer that in bringing this class to your area by purchasing a kit you will discover the power of sharing your story with other women. You will begin each class, which will meet once a week for 8 weeks, by hearing a short DVD presentation from Anne herself. Following this presentation, the Facilitator will start the first week off by sharing her story. Following in the steps of the facilitator, each woman in the class will have the opportunity to share, having one woman speak per week. Throughout the 8 weeks you will also discover three types of confession: bedside prayer, journaling, and one-to-another confession.
God’s ultimate goal for us as women is to recognize that he created us as emotional beings and we are to live in the freedom that he has provided. Very often we are trapped in the present because of our past. Dr. Richard Dobbins says, “It’s important to make peace with our past, enjoy the present, and look forward to our future.”
